Omnia Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Administrator to join its payroll team in Fourways, Gauteng. This exciting permanent opportunity is ideal for payroll professionals with extensive experience managing multiple payrolls, international payroll operations, employee benefits administration, and statutory compliance.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll system integrity, managing employee benefits, supporting payroll audits, and ensuring compliance with South African and international payroll regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and administer multiple payrolls accurately and on time.
- Review and reconcile payroll reports, payroll taxes, retirement contributions, and employee benefits.
- Ensure compliance with local and international payroll regulations.
- Maintain payroll records, employee data, and payroll system integrity.
- Process salary payments through banking platforms including FNB and Standard Bank.
- Audit timesheets, overtime records, and attendance information.
- Administer employee benefits including medical aid, retirement funds, insurance, and compensation claims.
- Process payroll deductions, garnishments, withholdings, and statutory deductions.
- Prepare quarterly, annual, and statutory payroll reports.
- Coordinate payroll budgeting activities and reporting requirements.
- Support payroll audits and compliance reviews.
- Handle payroll-related employee queries and stakeholder communications.
- Assist with disability claims and employee benefit administration.
- Train payroll staff on payroll procedures, systems, and best practices.
- Enforce payroll deadlines and ensure payroll accuracy across all payroll cycles.
- Support management with compensation-related legal matters and payroll compliance requirements.
- Perform additional payroll administration duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- Matric or NQF Level 5 qualification.
- Diploma (NQF Level 6 or 7) in:
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Human Resource Management
- Related field
- Payroll certification or recognised payroll systems qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of payroll administration experience.
- Minimum 5 years managing multiple payrolls.
- Minimum 3 years of international payroll experience.
- Experience with payroll reporting, employee benefits, and statutory compliance.
- Experience processing payroll through banking platforms.
