Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Diploma in Administration
- Computer literacy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative environment
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative and clerical support to the department
- Receiving complaints from the call centre and members of the public
- Capturing, logging, and allocating service requests on the relevant systems
- Allocating work to operational staff and ensuring jobs are closed accurately
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring quality data capturing
- Handling confidential and sensitive information professionally
- Supporting effective service delivery in line with Batho Pele principles
- Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, municipal by-laws, policies, and procedures
- Assisting with asset management and administrative reporting
