Job Purpose

Fidelity Cash Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Boxroom Operator to join its Worcester Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, sorting, scanning, recording, securing, and distributing cash consignments while ensuring that all vault operations are completed accurately and according to company procedures.

This role requires individuals who are trustworthy, physically fit, and able to work efficiently in a high-security environment while maintaining strict compliance with operational and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare the vault room before daily operations begin.
Plan and coordinate vault room schedules for Cash-in-Transit (CIT) teams.
Receive consignments from CIT crews.
Issue consignments to authorised CIT teams.
Scan and accurately record all consignments.
Balance the vault at the end of each shift.
Secure and lock the vault according to company procedures.
Sort and organise consignments for dispatch.
Complete administrative documentation accurately.
Perform searching duties where required.
Follow all cash handling and security procedures.
Maintain accurate operational records.
Assist with additional operational duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) is advantageous.
Clear criminal record.
PSIRA Grade C accreditation is advantageous.
At least 1 year of experience in the security industry or a similar operational environment.
Computer literacy is compulsory.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
Ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to work night shifts.
Willing to work overtime when operationally required.
