Job Purpose

SACAP is recruiting a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator for its Online Campus. The successful candidate will coordinate, deliver, and support Work-Integrated Learning programmes that enable students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world workplace, project-based, and community settings.

The role focuses on supporting students throughout their practical learning journey, strengthening partnerships with employers and community organisations, ensuring compliance with academic standards, and improving graduate employability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programmes.
  • Support students before, during, and after workplace placements.
  • Facilitate online WIL learning activities and practical projects.
  • Monitor student progress and assess learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate student and placement records.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and placement organisations.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and quality assurance standards.
  • Collaborate with academic staff to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Provide professional guidance and respond to student queries.
  • Prepare reports and contribute to continuous programme improvement.
  • Promote professional readiness, ethical practice, and graduate employability.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Psychology (BPsych Equivalent) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current HPCSA registration with at least three years of registration.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar Work Integrated Learning, student support, or programme coordination role.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of higher education and experiential learning practices.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
  • Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
