Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving daily production targets while ensuring that all bread products meet Premier’s quality standards. The role also focuses on maintaining food safety, hygiene, and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack bread products according to company standards.
• Meet daily production and bulk plan targets.
• Maintain high product quality throughout production.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Support food safety and health & safety requirements.
• Assist with planned maintenance and record keeping for assigned equipment.
• Contribute to production efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-motivated and reliable.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Work rotating shifts, including day and night shifts.
• Work Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays according to the shift roster.
• Perform duties in hot manufacturing environments.
