MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Currently studying towards a qualification in Biotechnology, Food Technology or Operations Management
- Must require practical workplace experience as part of their qualification

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Production Controller – WIL, you may be required to assist with:
- Controlling production activities to support business and financial objectives
- Working with Managers to plan and manage production tasks
- Reviewing production plans and identifying potential operational risks
- Assisting with inventory control to prevent shortages and excess stock
- Processing customer orders and coordinating shipments according to established schedules
- Supporting production cost control while maintaining quality standards
- Reviewing job orders and establishing priorities and schedules
- Monitoring job order execution and adjusting schedules to support timely delivery
- Monitoring the movement of materials throughout production cycles
- Planning equipment, material and manpower requirements for job orders
- Supporting Managers in resolving production planning and control challenges
- Preparing job order documentation and assisting with timely approvals
- Working with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on time and according to customer specifications
- Communicating production updates to Managers and customers
- Keeping up to date with company objectives, production strategies and support activities
