The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is seeking dedicated and service-oriented professionals to join its Gauteng Region as Grant Administrators. Minimum Requirements

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Providing professional grant administration services.
  • Receiving and screening social grant applications.
  • Capturing beneficiary information accurately on SASSA systems.
  • Processing beneficiary maintenance transactions.
  • Scheduling and administering medical assessments.
  • Providing mobile and off-site grant application services where required.
  • Scanning, indexing, and batching grant files.
  • Assisting members of the public with grant-related enquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate client records.
  • Ensuring compliance with SASSA policies and procedures.
  • Delivering efficient customer service in accordance with Batho Pele principles.
  • Supporting the effective administration of social assistance programmes.
