About the Ward Administrator Role

Stock Control and Inventory Management

  • Monitoring stationery and ward stock levels.
  • Ensuring that stock levels remain within required limits.
  • Completing regular stock cycle counts.
  • Ensuring stock used within the unit is properly recorded and billed.
  • Participating in stock-taking activities.
  • Managing stock count processes and supporting stock-taking teams.
  • Assisting the hospital stock controller with operational duties when required.
  • Reporting stock discrepancies or shortages through the appropriate channels.
