The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a collaborative initiative between the South African Government and the private sector aimed at reducing youth unemployment. Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Be between 18 and 34 years old.
  • Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Not have been permanently employed by one employer for more than one continuous year.
  • Not be studying full-time during the year of employment.
  • Never have participated in or been registered on the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme.
  • Be willing to work at the allocated Eskom office.
