About the Role

The successful candidate will coordinate and manage administrative functions relating to SATVETSA and COSACSA programmes. The role involves organising student leadership activities, educational programmes, academic conferences, sporting competitions, cultural events, stakeholder meetings, and travel logistics while ensuring efficient administrative support.

This position requires a highly organised individual with excellent planning, communication, and coordination skills who can work effectively with students, government departments, TVET colleges, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

SATVETSA Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all administrative activities for SATVETSA.
  • Organise Student Representative Council (SRC) inductions and leadership workshops.
  • Coordinate civic education programmes.
  • Arrange academic conferences and seminars.
  • Coordinate Provincial and National Congresses.
  • Manage meeting schedules and travel logistics for NSFAS, the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), SETAs, and Ministerial meetings.
  • Prepare meeting documentation, reports, correspondence, and administrative records.

COSACSA Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Track and Field championships.
  • Organise Arts and Culture Festivals.
  • Coordinate Netball tournaments.
  • Assist with Academic Congresses.
  • Support the planning and coordination of the annual TVET Cup.
  • Liaise with participating colleges, officials, suppliers, and service providers.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Management.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant administration experience.
  • A valid South African driver’s licence.
  • Experience in COSACSA and SATVETSA programmes will serve as an added advantage.
