Internship Purpose
The programme is designed to provide practical, hands-on workplace experience to students studying Agriculture. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to departmental projects, and develop technical and workplace skills required to complete their National Diploma.

Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen under the age of 35.
- Be registered or planning to register in 2026 for the final year of a National Diploma in:
- Agriculture (Crop Production), or
- Agriculture (Irrigation Systems).
- Be studying at a recognised South African higher education institution.
- Require Work Integrated Learning (WIL) as a compulsory component of their qualification.
- Submit:
- Academic record.
- Official letter from their institution confirming the WIL requirement.
- Have not worked full-time in their field of study for more than one year.
- Be based in the city where the internship is offered.
- Strong academic performance will be an added advantage.
Programme Duration
Successful applicants will be appointed on a 12-month fixed-term internship contract.
