Job Purpose
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing all Finished Goods (FG) inventory throughout the logistics supply chain. The role ensures inventory accuracy, product quality compliance, SAP inventory transactions, stock reconciliation, governance, and inventory control processes.
Key Responsibilities
Finished Goods Quality Management
- Ensure inventory quality standards are maintained.
- Manage stock blocking in SAP for damaged, obsolete, or quality-related inventory.
- Apply freshness and stock rotation policies.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate bin card records.
- Process inventory concessions according to company standards.
- Repack salvage stock.
- Manage obsolete stock according to company procedures.
Inventory Management
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts.
- Reconcile stock against SAP records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Process all stock movements accurately in SAP.
- Verify packaging receipts and write-offs.
- Process breakages, salvage, and obsolete stock.
- Resolve shipment issues and inventory claims.
- Review driver settlement corrections.
- Monitor logistics costs and report variances.
Governance & Compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation.
- Secure and file stock records.
- Monitor security compliance.
- Conduct random inventory verification checks.
- Perform independent shipment inspections.
Minimum Requirements
