About the Role
As an Administrator: Credit Control, you will support the bank’s credit control function by managing debtor accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. You will work closely with finance teams, clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to improve collections and reduce financial risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage debtor accounts and monitor outstanding balances.
- Perform debtor ageing analysis and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Prepare monthly debtors and credit control reports.
- Maintain accurate customer credit records and documentation.
- Process account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Liaise with clients regarding outstanding payments.
- Work with finance teams and underwriters to resolve account issues.
- Monitor payment trends and identify potential credit risks.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, and internal banking policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Improve administrative processes within the credit control function.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 3–5 years’ experience in:
- Credit Control
- Accounts Receivable
- Debt Collection
- Financial Administration
- Experience working with accounting or financial management systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable procedures.

Advantageous Qualifications
Candidates with any of the following will have an added advantage:
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Credit Management, or a related field.
- Credit Management qualification.
