Job Purpose

As an Accounts Receivable Officer II, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, collecting outstanding debt, resolving account queries, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records while delivering exceptional customer service. Your work will contribute to the financial health of the organisation and strengthen customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect outstanding customer accounts.
  • Perform inbound and outbound debt collection.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Resolve customer account queries.
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Achieve collection targets.
  • Deliver professional customer service.
  • Work closely with internal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting.
  • Minimum 2 years’ Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Debt collection experience.
  • Healthcare industry experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong financial administration knowledge.

Skills Required

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong numerical and reconciliation abilities.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Negotiation and collections skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.

Working Hours

  • 40 hours per week
