What You’ll Do

  • Sort, count, and process hospital linen
  • Maintain accurate linen records and registers
  • Operate industrial laundry machines safely
  • Ensure linen is clean, soft, and stain-free
  • Monitor stock levels and quality standards
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures
  • Maintain housekeeping and clean work areas
  • Handle waste disposal correctly
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
  • Basic English (read, write, speak)
  • Good counting and record-keeping ability
  • Physically fit (able to lift/move linen bags)
  • Able to work shifts and under pressure
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good personal hygiene and neat appearance
