Role Purpose
- Pre-assess group risk cases above the free cover limit, submitted via Declaration of Health
- Work under direct supervision with limited sign-off authority
- Contact applicants or brokers for additional information and clarify underwriting decisions
Key Responsibilities
- Assess risk for covers above the free cover limit using Declarations of Health
- Provide underwriting decision explanations to members and medical professionals
- Liaise with reinsurers for cases exceeding treaty limits
- Engage with members and brokers to obtain required information
- Support the underwriting team with administrative tasks as needed
