Working closely with the Head of Brand and Senior Designer, you will develop compelling visual solutions that support executive communications, marketing campaigns, internal communications, corporate publications, and digital engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening Old Mutual Wealth’s premium brand image while simplifying complex financial information through exceptional design.
About the Role
As the Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality creative work across multiple platforms. Your designs will support executive leadership, marketing campaigns, client communications, and internal business initiatives while ensuring every project reflects Old Mutual’s trusted and premium brand identity.
This role requires someone who can confidently manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under tight deadlines, and deliver polished creative solutions for a corporate financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Design
- Translate strategic briefs into impactful visual concepts.
- Develop creative solutions for both digital and print media.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and brand teams.
- Present creative ideas and design concepts to stakeholders.
Executive Presentation Design
- Design professional PowerPoint presentations for executive leadership.
- Create presentation templates and branded slide masters.
- Transform complex business information into visually engaging presentations.
Corporate Communications
- Design newsletters and email marketing campaigns.
- Produce Everlytic email templates and digital mailers.
- Create invitations, reports, brochures, and client-facing documentation.
- Design internal communication materials and campaign assets.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Design static digital advertisements and campaign banners.
- Produce graphics for social media platforms.
- Resize and adapt campaign artwork for multiple digital formats.
- Create engaging digital communication assets.
Motion Graphics
- Develop simple animated banners.
- Produce internal announcement videos.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A Degree, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or Visual Communication (NQF Level 7).
- At least 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
- Extensive experience working within an agency or corporate environment.
- Expert-level Adobe InDesign skills.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience producing executive-level presentations.
- Experience creating corporate reports, brochures, newsletters, and communication materials.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality corporate design work.
