Job Purpose

The Grant Administrator will provide effective administrative and customer service support relating to social grant applications and beneficiary services. The role involves assisting clients, processing grant applications and maintaining accurate grant-related records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

Providing grant customer care services to beneficiaries and applicants.
Screening and capturing grant applications.
Performing beneficiary maintenance functions effectively.
Administering medical bookings and assessments where required.
Providing off-site grant application services to clients.
Scanning and batching files.
Performing general administrative duties related to grant services.
Ensuring that applications and supporting documentation are processed accurately.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

A relevant NQF Level 6 qualification recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
The qualification should be in a relevant field such as:
- Public Administration
- Public Management
- Business Administration
- Economics
- Development Studies
- Finance
- Accounting
- Commerce

- Law
- Information Technology
