Nedbank is hiring a Wills Administrator to join Nedgroup Trust at its Sandton offices. This role is ideal for professionals with solid wills and estate administration experience who are detail-oriented and committed to strong governance, client service and compliance.

Job Purpose

To monitor, control and administer Wills in progress and signed Wills held in safe custody, ensuring accuracy, compliance, service excellence and risk mitigation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and manage signed Wills received for safe custody
  • Prepare correspondence to intermediaries, BDCs and clients
  • Ensure safe custody forms and original Wills are completed accurately and processed timeously
  • Acknowledge receipt of Wills to intermediaries and clients
  • Ensure all Wills for the month are captured by close of business on month-end
  • Resolve estate-related queries, copy requests and cancellations within SLAs
  • Maintain strong relationships with advisors, estate managers and clients
  • Follow governance, risk and administrative procedures to mitigate financial and reputational risk
  • Identify and recommend process, policy and system improvements
  • Keep up to date with legislation and industry developments
  • Participate in Nedbank culture-building and CSR initiatives
  • Support team goals through collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous learning


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 (Compulsory)
  • Post-matric qualification in Deceased Estates or Law (Compulsory)
  • 2–5 years’ experience in Wills and Estate Administration


Technical & Professional Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office
  • Administrative procedures and systems
  • Business writing skills
  • Relevant regulatory and fiduciary knowledge
