About the Learnership Programme

This Metropolitan Learnership Programme 2026 is designed to provide unemployed youth with valuable workplace exposure in the insurance and financial services industry.

Successful learners will:

  • Complete theoretical learning.
  • Gain practical workplace experience.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals.
  • Develop customer service and administrative skills.
  • Build knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry.
  • Work towards a Wealth Management NQF Level 4 qualification.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Be a South African citizen by birth.
  • Currently be unemployed.
  • Belong to a previously disadvantaged group.
  • People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Learners may be required to:

  • Complete all required theoretical learning.
  • Complete administrative and reporting duties on time.
  • Collate, compile and distribute documents according to required standards.
  • Respond to client queries professionally.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support service-level requirements.
  • Screen and route queries to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assist with resolving client queries.
  • Maintain appropriate office housekeeping standards.
