About the Role
Standard Bank is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager: Property Leasing Administration to lead its Property Leasing portfolio team within the Real Estate Services division. The successful candidate will oversee leasing administration processes, ensure legal compliance, manage lease documentation, and drive operational excellence across the property leasing function.
This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in real estate management, lease administration, and shared services operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leasing administration team.
- Oversee the preparation, validation, execution, and safekeeping of lease agreements.
- Ensure lease documentation complies with legal, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Manage lease processes for ATMs, branches, and non-customer-facing properties.
- Review and vet lease agreements to ensure accuracy of terms, clauses, and conditions.
- Coordinate lease distribution to landlords and ensure signed agreements are returned and properly filed.
- Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with property leasing legislation and governance requirements.
- Manage leasing administration workflows, service delivery standards, and stakeholder relationships.
- Support budgeting, reporting, and portfolio management activities.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Commerce, Real Estate, Law, or a related field.
Experience
- 5–7 years’ experience in Real Estate Management, specifically drafting leases and managing property leasing portfolios.
- 5–7 years’ experience managing large operational or shared service environments.
- Strong understanding of property leasing legislation and industry regulations.
- Experience implementing operational efficiencies through technology and process improvements.
