Salary: R163,680 – R192,810 per annum (Level 3)

Centres:

  • Alfred Nzo Maintenance (Ref No: DOT 59/02/2026) – 3 Posts
  • Amathole Transport Infrastructure (Ref No: DOT 60/02/2026) – 3 Posts

Minimum Education: ABET Level 2


Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must have:

  • NQF Level 1 (Grade 5 or higher) or
  • NQF Level 2 (ABET Level 2 Certificate or equivalent)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Planning and organisational skills

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will assist with:

  • Construction of culverts and side drains
  • Guardrail and gabion installation
  • Road earthworks and layer works
  • Cleaning roads, sidewalks, and rest areas
  • Pothole patching and surfacing
  • Installing road markings, signs, and distance markers
  • Setting up barricades in work zones
  • Grass cutting, brush clearing, and fence repairs
