Minimum Education: ABET Level 2
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you must have:
- NQF Level 1 (Grade 5 or higher) or
- NQF Level 2 (ABET Level 2 Certificate or equivalent)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy
- Planning and organisational skills
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will assist with:
- Construction of culverts and side drains
- Guardrail and gabion installation
- Road earthworks and layer works
- Cleaning roads, sidewalks, and rest areas
- Pothole patching and surfacing
- Installing road markings, signs, and distance markers
- Setting up barricades in work zones
- Grass cutting, brush clearing, and fence repairs
