About the Position

The Clerk (Data Planned Maintenance) will provide administrative support to the Engineering Department, with a focus on maintenance-related administration, systems and data. The successful candidate will help ensure that maintenance activities are properly supported and that required company procedures and standards are followed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide effective maintenance administration support to the Engineering Department.
  • Assist with planned maintenance administration and related data.
  • Provide maintenance support to the mine to contribute to production performance.
  • Administer and maintain relevant maintenance systems.
  • Work with maintenance information and documentation.
  • Support the Engineering Department with general administrative duties.
  • Ensure accurate and effective administration of required systems.
  • Follow applicable company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Assist with maintaining proper records and information.
  • Perform overtime duties when operationally required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with SAP Maintenance.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good written English communication skills.
  • Must be medically fit for surface work.
  • Must be willing to work overtime when required.

Skills That Could Be Important

Candidates should ideally have good administrative and organisational skills, attention to detail, computer skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering and maintenance teams.

Experience in a mining or industrial environment would be particularly relevant because the position supports mine maintenance and production activities.
