About the FNB Branch Advisor FAIS Position

The Branch Advisor will be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience while providing compliant and professional financial advice.

The successful candidate will work in a high-volume branch environment, assisting both walk-in and existing customers. The role involves identifying customer financial needs, recommending suitable financial products and services, maintaining client relationships and ensuring that all activities comply with relevant legislation and FNB governance requirements.

The Branch Advisor will also educate customers about digital banking platforms, eChannels and self-service options where appropriate.

Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

Qualification

A minimum NQF Level 5 Certificate in one of the following areas:

  • Banking

  • Related field recognised by FAIS

Work Experience

Applicants should have:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a customer-facing environment.
