Rand Water is recruiting a Driver’s Aide – Transport to support Heavy Vehicle Drivers and Construction Plant Operators with daily operational activities. The successful candidate will assist with loading and transporting equipment, vehicle maintenance, housekeeping, and other general transport-related duties to ensure efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Heavy Vehicle Drivers and Construction Plant Operators with daily operational tasks.
  • Load, offload, and transport equipment safely.
  • Clean and maintain company vehicles.
  • Perform yard maintenance and housekeeping duties.
  • Assist drivers with transportation activities and site operations.
  • Secure and tie down equipment correctly.
  • Carry out general duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or N3 qualification.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar environment.
  • Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s licence.

Knowledge Requirements
