Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, after-hours, and night duty.
Added Advantages
The following will serve as an advantage:
- Knowledge of SAP PAAB or HIS systems.
- Knowledge of patient administration legislation and policies.
- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, PAIA, National Archives Act, UPFS, and National Core Standards.
- Ability to communicate in more than two official languages.
- 2–3 years’ experience in patient administration.
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Public Administration or a related field.
- Experience in a hospital environment.
- Residency within Pretoria.

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Registering patients on SAP systems.
- Admitting, transferring, and discharging patients using SAP-HIS.
- Capturing accurate patient information.
- Following up on outstanding patient accounts.
- Booking follow-up appointments.
- Maintaining patient records in accordance with legal requirements.
- Compiling and submitting reports and statistics.
- Ordering stock and administrative supplies.
- Ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Assisting in other departments when required.
- Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
