Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily document administration and ensuring that all requisition information is accurately captured on the computer system according to SANBS procedures and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Document Administration

  • Capture and process requisition information accurately.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Blood Bank Meditech Manual requirements.

Administrative Duties

  • Perform general office administration tasks.
  • Maintain organized filing systems.
  • Support departmental administrative functions.

Quality Compliance

  • Follow SANBS quality standards and procedures.
  • Ensure documentation meets compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of records.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Mathematics and/or applicable Computer Technology course such as CAT will be advantageous

Experience and Knowledge

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook
