DATA CAPTURER (12-MONTH CONTRACT)

Wits Health Consortium, a subsidiary of the University of the Witwatersrand, is recruiting a Data Capturer to support critical health research. This role focuses on accurate data entry, quality control, and maintaining patient records for research studies.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Create and capture new patient files
  • Maintain and update patient records
  • Capture laboratory blood results
  • Perform daily data cleaning and quality checks
  • Identify missing data, errors, and inconsistencies
  • Follow up and resolve data queries
  • Compare patient history for accuracy
  • Generate reports and support the Project Coordinator
  • Print and file documentation correctly
  • Ensure all research data is captured on time


REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in data capturing or administration
  • Basic computer and typing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

ADVANTAGES
