About the Role

Mediclinic is seeking a detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to manage creditors reconciliations accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely supplier payments, maintaining financial controls, and reducing financial risk within the organisation.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong accounting knowledge, excellent reconciliation skills, and experience working in a fast-paced finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Administering creditor accounts and supplier payments
  • Performing creditors reconciliations
  • Managing provisions and financial records
  • Controlling financial risks and ensuring compliance
  • Processing invoices and related financial documentation
  • Handling debit and credit notes
  • Assisting with VAT-related financial administration
  • Supporting auditing processes
  • Reporting incidents and discrepancies where necessary

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with Accounting

Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in creditors reconciliations

Advantageous:

  • Experience within a private healthcare environment
  • SAP experience

Required Skills and Knowledge

Candidates should possess:

  • Creditors reconciliation expertise
  • Financial administration experience
  • Knowledge of VAT invoice regulations
  • Auditing knowledge
  • Debit and credit note processing
  • Incident reporting skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • SAP system knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
