Job Purpose

Discovery is looking for a Client Support Consultant to provide exceptional customer service within a contact centre environment. The successful candidate will handle client enquiries, resolve complex issues, investigate complaints, and provide accurate information about Discovery’s Employee Benefits products while maintaining the company’s high service standards.

This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional telephonic and email support to clients.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external customer enquiries.
  • Investigate and resolve complex client complaints.
  • Explain policies, benefits, products, and company protocols accurately.
  • Record and monitor customer interactions and service statistics.
  • Identify trends in customer queries and provide feedback to relevant departments.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external business partners.
  • Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Analyse customer data and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on Discovery Employee Benefits products, retirement schemes, and internal processes.
  • Deliver service that exceeds customer expectations.

Minimum Requirements

  • NQF Level 6 qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a contact centre.
  • Proven experience resolving customer queries.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work Saturdays.
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
