About the Position

Mediclinic Constantiaberg is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join its healthcare team. This role focuses on supporting nurses and healthcare professionals in delivering safe, quality patient care while ensuring patients receive a positive healthcare experience.

The successful candidate will assist with daily patient care activities, administrative duties, stock management, infection control practices, and maintaining a safe environment within the nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist nursing staff with patient care and comfort.
  • Support patients with daily healthcare needs.
  • Observe, identify, and report patient risks or concerns.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and caring environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and record-keeping.

Minimum Requirements

Essential Requirements

✔ Appropriate Care Worker qualification
✔ Experience working in a healthcare environment
✔ Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required
✔ Good communication and interpersonal skills

Advantageous

✔ Grade 12 / Matric certificate
✔ Previous experience in a hospital or medical ward environment
