About the Role

The Box Room Controller plays a critical role in the secure handling, receiving, distribution, and administration of cash consignments within the vault environment. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining operational efficiency while ensuring strict adherence to security procedures and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage daily vault room operations
  • Plan and coordinate vault room schedules with Cash-In-Transit (CIT) teams
  • Receive and distribute consignments to and from CIT crews
  • Scan and verify consignments accurately
  • Balance vault stock and secure vault facilities
  • Sort consignments according to operational requirements
  • Complete documentation and administrative records
  • Conduct searching and verification procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company security protocols
  • Support operational activities as required

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Clear criminal record
  • PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification (advantageous)
  • At least 1 year of experience within the security industry or a similar operational environment
  • Computer literacy (essential)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-security environment
  • Physically fit and capable of performing operational duties
