Key Duties and Responsibilities
Document Administration
- Capture requisition and donor-related information accurately onto the computer system.
- Verify documentation before processing.
- Maintain organized records and filing systems.
- Ensure all documentation complies with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Data Capturing and Record Management
- Update and maintain electronic records.
- Perform routine administrative checks on documentation.
- Assist with information retrieval and record audits when required.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy at all times.
Quality and Compliance
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain compliance with quality management systems.
- Support internal quality assurance processes.
- Assist with maintaining accurate audit trails and documentation.
Consumables Management
- Monitor critical and non-critical consumables.
- Report shortages and replenish stock when required.
- Maintain inventory records in accordance with departmental procedures.
General Administrative Support
- Provide administrative assistance to the Blood Bank team.

Minimum Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
- Mathematics as a subject.
- One Science subject.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience using Meditech will be advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy and data-capturing skills.
