Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
- Alternatively, DCAPS Grade 5 or Technical Occupational Curriculum (TOC) Level 4 in Office Administration or ICT-related fields for persons with intellectual disabilities.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint will be an added advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational, filing and record management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters and memoranda.
- Maintaining accurate filing systems and administrative records.
- Scheduling meetings, appointments and maintaining office diaries.
- Preparing reports, letters and other official documents.
- Typing, photocopying, scanning and distributing documents.
- Monitoring office supplies and maintaining inventory records.
- Assisting with stock control and asset management.
- Providing administrative support to school management and staff.
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the administration office.
- Performing any other administrative duties assigned by management.
