Requirements
- Qualification & Experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent with more than 10 years’ experience in Auditing, Accounting or Risk Management; OR
- National Diploma or Degree (SAQA-recognised) in Auditing, Accounting or Risk Management with 0–2 years’ relevant experience.
- Knowledge:
- Auditing, Accounting or Risk Management
- Treasury Regulations and Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- Customer relations
- Administration procedures, norms and standards
- Reporting procedures and procurement directives
- Finance, HR matters, safety and labour matters
- Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint

Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor reported incidents and emerging risks
- Monitor implementation of audit action plans
- Prepare risk-based audits, financial and non-financial pre-audits, and internal control assessments
- Facilitate and monitor operational risk registers for all hospital business units
- Monitor strategic risk register under management supervision
- Orientate new staff on audit, risk and ethics
- Conduct risk awareness campaigns
- Participate in departmental committees
- Ensure compliance with legislative laws, regulations, guidelines, circulars, policies and procedures
- Render departmental administrative support services
- Compile, draft and submit management reports with recommendations where necessary
Criteria Question
Do you have:
- Grade 12 or equivalent with more than 10 years’ experience in Auditing, Accounting or Risk Management; OR
- A National Diploma or Degree (SAQA-recognised) with 0–2 years’ experience in Auditing, Accounting or Risk Management?
