About the Internship

The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development by providing unemployed graduates with opportunities to gain valuable work-based experience.

The successful candidates will receive exposure to various Facilities Management functions during the 18-month programme.

Facilities Management Internship Duties

Work-based exposure may include:

  • Inventory control
  • Asset Management
  • Fleet Management
  • Facilities Support
  • Human Resource Management
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Space and Parking Management
  • Contract administration
  • Accounts payment on SAP
  • Monthly reporting
  • Facilities Management projects
  • Insurance claims relating to RAF property
  • General Facilities Management support

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 certificate
  • Relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management or a related discipline
  • Certified copy of ID
  • Certified academic transcript
  • CV
  • Motivational letter

Applicants must be 18–25 years old, unemployed, and must not have previous work experience in the relevant field.

Applicants must also not have previously completed an internship in the same field.

RAF Internship Stipend

The advertised remuneration is R96,000 per year, equivalent to approximately R8,000 per month.
