Programme Purpose

The WIL programme is designed to help students and recent graduates gain real-world workplace experience and apply the knowledge they obtained through their studies.

Successful learners will receive exposure to practical tasks, workplace processes, mentorship, training and industry-specific activities over an 18-month period.

Key Responsibilities

Learners may be required to:

  • Assist with departmental projects and work-stream activities.
  • Perform routine operational duties under supervision.
  • Provide administrative and documentation support.
  • Assist with reports and presentations.
  • Participate in training, workshops and mentorship programmes.
  • Shadow experienced employees.
  • Assist with research, data collection and analysis.
  • Support process improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate with internal teams, customers and suppliers.
  • Provide updates on assigned tasks and projects.
  • Follow company policies, procedures and safety requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Completed all theoretical subjects from N4 to N6 in Office Management at a TVET College.
  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Have no bursary obligation with another company.
  • Provide a recent confirmation letter from the educational institution.
