About the Position
The Administrator Supply Chain Cross Border Exports will be responsible for the effective administration and coordination of approved export orders to customers and Sasol regions globally.
The position requires strong attention to detail because export transactions involve multiple documents, regulatory requirements, customers, logistics providers, financial institutions and internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate must ensure that export activities are completed according to agreed schedules while maintaining compliance with applicable customs, excise, shipping, port, VAT, exchange control and other regulatory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Cross-Border Export Coordination
The incumbent will coordinate the complete cross-border sales order cycle for road and rail exports.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing and coordinating approved export orders.
- Monitoring order progress from initiation through to completion.
- Ensuring shipments meet agreed planning and shipping schedules.
- Coordinating with relevant internal departments and external service providers.
- Monitoring deliveries and identifying potential delays or risks.
- Ensuring export documentation is available within required timeframes.
- Following up on outstanding documentation and shipment requirements.
Export Documentation
A major part of the role involves ensuring that export documentation is complete, accurate and compliant.

Customer Service

Minimum Requirements

- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures in Africa and BLNE destinations.
A Certificate in Exports or Clearing and Forwarding will be an advantage.
