About the Learnership

The Discovery PWD Learnership combines structured classroom learning with practical workplace training, allowing participants to gain real-world experience while working toward the Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Long Term Insurance, NQF Level 4.

Learners will receive exposure to Discovery’s customer service environment while developing technical, administrative, communication, and insurance-related skills.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Mathematics: Minimum Level 4 (50%) or
  • Mathematical Literacy: Minimum Level 5 (60%)
  • English: Minimum Level 4 (50%)
  • Second language: Minimum Level 4 (50%)
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook

  • Not have completed any previous learnership
  • Be available for the full duration of the programme
