About the Role

The Office Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Johannesburg branch. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients while providing high-level administrative support to both the Branch Manager and Contracts Manager. The role also includes financial administration, courier coordination, customer communication, and general office management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors while maintaining a professional reception area.
  • Provide administrative and personal assistant support to the Branch Manager and Contracts Manager.
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Process and manage daily cash transactions accurately.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing courier deliveries.
  • Schedule meetings and assist with office administration.
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and documentation.
  • Support daily branch operations and assist with operational tasks.
  • Prioritise multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 8 years’ proven experience in reception, office administration, executive assistant, or office support roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially with cash handling.
  • Good problem-solving and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas.
  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
