Job Purpose
As a Processor, you will receive, prepare, and process laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently to support timely diagnostic testing. Your work will help ensure high-quality laboratory services that contribute to better healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare laboratory specimens accurately.
- Capture and update specimen information on computer systems.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ensure workstations remain clean, organised, and compliant with laboratory standards.
- Support efficient laboratory workflow.
- Deliver excellent service to internal and external clients.
- Assist with onboarding and supporting new team members.
- Maintain quality and confidentiality standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 1–2 years of relevant administrative experience (healthcare or laboratory experience is advantageous).
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
