About the Role

The Administrator will play an important role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the branch. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across finance, procurement, stock management, and human resources while maintaining accurate records and ensuring company procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily office administration and clerical duties.
  • Process supplier invoices and verify supporting documentation.
  • Create, update, and monitor purchase orders.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, quotations, and order queries.
  • Maintain accurate financial and operational records.
  • Capture stock movements on the company system.
  • Assist with stock counts, reconciliations, and stock variance investigations.
  • Maintain stock registers and filing systems.
  • Work with mine personnel to monitor stock usage and identify discrepancies.
  • Maintain employee attendance registers.
  • Capture leave forms, attendance records, and HR information on company systems.
  • Assist with employee documentation and general HR administration.
  • Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative role with finance and HR responsibilities.
  • Diploma in Finance, Human Resources, or Business Administration (advantageous).
  • Experience using ERP or accounting software will be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent numerical and reconciliation skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
