About the Receiving Clerk Role
The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accurate stock records, handling administrative tasks, and supporting warehouse operations. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
This role involves both administrative responsibilities and physical warehouse duties, including lifting and moving stock when required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Goods Receiving
- Receive incoming stock and parts accurately
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Inspect goods for damages and discrepancies
- Ensure proper documentation of received items

Stock Control
- Conduct routine stock counts and stock takes
- Monitor inventory levels
- Assist with inventory reconciliation
- Ensure stock records remain accurate
- Report stock shortages or discrepancies
Warehouse Operations
- Bin goods in designated storage locations
- Organize warehouse storage areas
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
- Move stock safely within the warehouse
- Ensure stock is stored according to company procedures
Dispatch and Shipping
- Prepare goods for dispatch
- Coordinate outgoing shipments
- Ensure accurate dispatch documentation
- Verify orders before shipment
- Assist with transportation and logistics processes
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Capture stock information on company systems
- Process claims efficiently
- Generate and update reports when required
- Support management with general administrative functions
Housekeeping and Safety
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
