About the Role
The Administration Clerk will be responsible for managing switchboard operations and supporting the branch’s administrative functions. The successful candidate will ensure accurate document processing, maintain records, assist with stock control processes, and provide excellent administrative support to both internal teams and clients.
This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Grade 12 / Matric
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year administration experience
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Answer and manage switchboard calls professionally
- Process and file delivery notes accurately
- Assist with ad-hoc receiving duties
- Ensure all documents are processed correctly
- Verify that system number sequences remain accurate
Client Service
- Maintain positive client relationships
- Respond to and resolve client queries efficiently
Reporting and Documentation
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including:
- Outstanding claims reports
- Outstanding purchase order reports
- Negative on-hand reports
- Other operational reports as required

Stock Management Support
- Generate stock-taking reports
- Assist with quarterly stock-taking activities
- Capture stock count sheets on the system
- Generate variance reports
- Report stock variances to management
