Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 9 qualification
- Security Guard Qualification/Certificate (Grade D) recognized by the Security Industry Authority
- Valid PSIRA Certificate
- Police Clearance Certificate
- Proof of medical fitness from a registered medical practitioner
- Proof of residence issued by a Ward Councillor
- Minimum of 12–18 months relevant experience in Security, Police, or Military services

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Safeguarding municipal assets and infrastructure
- Securing municipal buildings, reservoirs, dams, pump stations, and sewerage facilities
- Recording incoming and outgoing assets and equipment
- Maintaining occurrence registers and incident records
- Monitoring access control for employees and visitors
- Conducting vehicle searches on arrival and departure
- Directing members of the public to appropriate offices
- Monitoring potential risks and threats to municipal personnel and property
- Ensuring compliance with municipal security protocols
- Protecting councillors, employees, and official delegations during municipal activities
