Nedbank is seeking customer-focused and sales-driven professionals to join its Consumer Channel team as a Client Advisor. This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals with banking, customer service, and relationship management experience who are passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals while promoting innovative digital banking solutions.
As a Client Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving product sales, educating clients on self-service banking channels, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Assist clients with banking products and services.
- Build trust through professional and personalized client interactions.
- Educate clients on digital and self-service banking solutions.
- Resolve client queries and provide end-to-end support.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and cross-sell relevant banking products.
- Conduct needs analyses and recommend suitable financial solutions.
- Generate referrals and convert leads into sustainable business opportunities.
- Support market share growth through client retention and acquisition.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with FICA, FAIS, banking regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Report suspicious transactions and manage operational risks.
- Stay updated on banking legislation and industry changes.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
- 2–3 years of retail banking, client service, sales, or relationship management experience.
- 2–3 years in a customer-facing environment.
- 120 FAIS Credits.
- Business-related Certificate, Diploma, or Institute of Banking qualification will be advantageous.
