Tiger Brands, Africa’s leading listed FMCG manufacturer, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary, Office & Contract Administrator to provide administrative, governance, and contract management support within its Legal Function.
This role is ideal for professionals with legal administration experience who thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at managing multiple priorities, and can maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
As part of the Legal team, you will support lawyers and leadership by coordinating meetings, managing contracts, overseeing legal systems, handling budgets and invoices, and ensuring efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Administration & Governance Support
- Draft, type, and distribute meeting minutes and governance documentation.
- Maintain secure electronic and paper-based filing systems.
- Support lawyers with legal process and system-related activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings.
- Manage subscriptions, renewals, and compliance-related records.
Contract Management
- Support contract administration processes through the Updraft system.
- Serve as the super user for DocuSign and electronic signature platforms.
- Upload, track, manage, and report on contract documentation.
- Draft and generate NDAs, SLAs, promotional terms and conditions, and related legal documents.
- Ensure proper filing and record management of finalized agreements.
Office Administration
- Manage calendars for Legal leadership team members.
- Coordinate travel, catering, stationery, and office requirements.
- Assist with facilities management, maintenance, and security-related matters.
- Support strategic and operational projects when required.
Budgeting & Financial Administration
- Process invoices and payments.
- Monitor departmental budgets and expenditure.
- Prepare cost reports and assist with expense management.
- Support budgeting and financial administration activities within the Legal Function.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Office Administrator, or Contract Administrator.
- Experience supporting legal teams and governance processes.
- Knowledge of contract management systems and electronic document platforms.
- Understanding of office administration and basic accounting procedures.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong legal administration and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
