Premier is offering an exciting Quality Control & Assurance Internship for final-year Food Technology students seeking practical workplace experience. This opportunity provides hands-on exposure to laboratory testing, quality assurance processes, food safety standards, and manufacturing quality control within a leading FMCG company.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare chemicals for laboratory analysis
- Test product samples and record results
- Report laboratory findings accurately and on time
- Assist with equipment calibration and verification
- Conduct plant inspections and hygiene checks
- Collect and submit product samples for testing
- Verify product weights, labels, batch codes, and packaging quality
- Report operational non-conformities
- Participate in housekeeping and laboratory activities
- Assist with shift start-up and end-of-shift quality control processes
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Studying towards a National Diploma in Food Technology (Final Year)
- Institution logbook outlining required practical training exposure
- Basic understanding of laboratory practices
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and chemical handling
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- Receptionist –Fidelity Services Group
- Eskom– Senior Clerk Data Control
- Transnet Internship: Office Management or Office Administration
- Specialist Clerk Sales: Animal Health (Retail)
