Requirements :

  • Grade 12 or equivalent with 3-5 years as a driver. Valid code 10/14 drivers’ licence with PDP.
  • Time management, discipline and loyalty. Be prepared to work night, weekend and public holiday shifts. Knowledge and understanding of road maps and directions.

Duties :

  • Transporting patients to various institutions for consultations, checkups and follow ups. To collect and deliver medication from medical depot and different institutions.
  • To collect and deliver documents to different institutions. To collect and deliver equipment and material from different institutions.
  • To record and check faults of the vehicle and complete inspection sheets before and after each trip. Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before utilizing it.
  • Report accidents and dents to the transport officer. Ensure that the vehicle tools are in good condition. Record start and end kilometers in the logbook. Submit keys, fuel cards and logbook to the transport officer after the trip. Fill all the necessary information required when receiving trip authorization
