Key Responsibilities
Cash Receiving & Processing
- Receive and capture deposits on applicable systems
- Prepare and process deposits in line with bank SLAs and SOPs
- Check containers/bags for tampering and report anomalies
- Ensure accurate workstation preparation for note counting
Note Sorting & Reconciliation
- Sort and process notes within cut-off times
- Reconcile rejected notes and verify discrepancies
- Identify counterfeit, dye-stained, or mutilated notes
- Perform end-of-day balancing and reconciliation
- Manage shortages and surpluses according to SOPs
Desktop & Integrated Deposit Processing
- Process deposits per customer separately and on time
- Validate transactions linked to bank system integrations
- Escalate system issues to the Team Controller
- Verify account numbers to prevent losses or misposts
Coin & Payroll Processing
- Process bulk coin deposits according to company procedures
- Handle payroll and change transactions within SLA timelines
- Report discrepancies promptly
- Ensure floats are sealed and packed correctly
Prepack/Treasury & Equipment Management
- Assist with packing and unpacking ATM and bank cash
- Record bag and seal numbers accurately
- Use and maintain equipment according to SOPs
